You Alleviated Munir Ahmed’s Epigastric Pain
Munir Ahmed's Story
Munir Ahmed, a 29-year-old man from Kashmir, had been experiencing intermittent episodes of epigastric pain for three years. He received symptomatic treatment but the relief was temporary. Due to his chronic pain, he found it difficult to eat and sleep. After suffering for a while, he decided to consult a specialist, who after a thorough examination and evaluation diagnosed Munir with Peptic Ulcer Disease. The doctor advised him to undergo an endoscopy to visually examine the internal lining of the upper gastrointestinal tract. This news hit him hard, as the cost of the procedure was beyond what he could afford.
Munir lives in a modest house with his joint family of nine members. He is an office employee and earns just PKR 35,000 per month. He struggles to make ends meet. With limited resources and no savings at all, Munir felt helpless. That’s when Transparent Hands stepped in to help him. Through the contributions of donors, we were able to arrange an endoscopy for him at one of our panel hospitals.
On 19th September 2024, Munir’s endoscopy was performed at Lahore Care Hospital. This was performed by Dr. Saleem Ullah. His biopsy was also done and he was diagnosed with Chronic gastritis with positive H.Pylori infection. Munir was placed on a proper treatment regimen to help heal his stomach ulcer.
Munir expressed his emotions as follows:
“I can’t thank you enough. The pain had taken over my life, and I was afraid of what would happen next. Your support has not only given me back my health but also my peace of mind.”
You have given Munir a healthy and happy life once again. He and his family are incredibly grateful to you for making a meaningful impact on his life. Munir is now recovering and is ready to face the challenges of life with new hope and resilience.
You proved to be a light in his darkest hour.
