Bringing Free Eye Care Services to Lahore
Transparent Hands plans to organize a free medical camp to help the impoverished communities in Lahore. It’s among one of those areas, where many elderly and children experience vision issues but their financial constraints make it impossible for them to obtain timely medical care. Therefore, their quality of life has been badly affected and they await necessary treatments for it. At this upcoming medical camp, free consultations, checkups, eyeglasses, and medications will be provided to needy patients in Lahore.
Challenges
Lahore’s residents, especially those from low-income backgrounds, struggle with limited access to quality eye care. Vision impairments are often left untreated, affecting productivity, and daily life. The elderly are especially vulnerable, facing mobility issues due to untreated vision problems. Due to a lack of resources and awareness, many experience poor eyesight, which impacts their quality of life and ability to participate fully in work and community activities.
The residents suffer from various eye issues including conjunctivitis, cataract, glaucoma, myopia, hypermetropia, pterygium, and refractive errors.
Solution
Transparent Hands is organizing an eye camp in Lahore, where our team of eye specialists will conduct free eye exams, offer treatments, and provide prescription eyeglasses. This camp will enable residents to get the eye care they need without the financial burden. By addressing vision issues, we aim to empower individuals to work and enjoy life with clearer vision and improved quality of life.
At the free medical camp, our team of ophthalmologists, nurses, and volunteers will offer the following free healthcare services to underprivileged people in Lahore.
- Eye Check-Ups
- Consultations
- Medicines
- Eyeglasses
- Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered
We aim to help Lahore’s residents maintain better eye health, reducing the risk of visual impairments.
