Samina Delivered Her Baby Safely Through a C-Section

Samina Bibi's Story

Samina Bibi, a 35-year-old woman from Karachi, was anxiously waiting for the safe arrival of her baby. Her medical history made this pregnancy high-risk. Having already undergone two C-sections in the past, her gynecologist considered her current pregnancy to be risky and advised an elective C-section. Without this timely surgical intervention, both her and her baby’s lives could have been at risk. Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure was far beyond what her family could afford.

Samina lives in a small house with her husband and five other family members. Her husband works as a school teacher and earns only PKR 30,000 per month. With this limited income, he supports a household of six people, covering food, education, and utility expenses. After meeting these essential needs, there was nothing left for medical expenses. The thought of not being able to arrange money for the C-section weighed heavily on the family. Feeling helpless during this difficult time, they reached out to Transparent Hands for assistance. After carefully reviewing her case, we registered her for surgery.

On July 16, 2025, Samina was admitted to Murshid Hospital, Karachi. Her surgery was performed on the same day by Dr. Samreen Zeeshan. The C-section was successful, and Samina delivered a baby girl. On July 18, 2025, she was discharged from the hospital in satisfactory condition, along with her newborn.

Samina expressed her heartfelt emotions in these words:
