Ali Raza’s Life Has Changed After Orchidopexy

Ali Raza's Story
Ali Raza, a 12-year-old boy from Jacobabad, had been living with a challenging medical condition since birth. His parents noticed early on that one of his testicles had not descended into the scrotum, a condition that concerned them deeply. Determined to help their son, they consulted a doctor, who conducted an ultrasound scan and lab tests and diagnosed Ali with an undescended left testicle.
The doctor recommended an orchidopexy, a surgical procedure to position the testicle into the scrotum. However, the cost of the surgery was well beyond the financial capacity of Ali’s family.
Ali lived in a modest house with his parents and three younger siblings. Ali’s father worked as a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 15,000 per month. This meager income barely covered the family’s basic necessities, leaving no room for costly medical expenses. Ali’s parents were worried about the circumstances, until a day came when a neighbor told them about Transparent Hands. Understanding the critical nature of the situation, we registered Ali’s case to ensure he received timely medical care.
On November 18, 2024, Ali was admitted to the Isra University Welfare Hospital in Hyderabad. On November 19, 2024, Dr. Abdul Samad successfully performed the procedure, giving Ali hope and relief. Ali was discharged in stable condition after receiving appropriate post-operative care.
Ali’s parents were overwhelmed with gratitude and they shared their emotions as follows:
“You have given our son a new chance at life. Words cannot express how thankful we are for your support and generosity. May you continue to bring hope to many families like ours.”
Today, Ali is healing and he is looking forward to a brighter, healthier future. The successful surgery has not only improved his physical health but also brought immense relief to his family. They are deeply appreciative of your kindness and generosity. You have made a significant impact on his life.
