You Can Change Tayyab’s Life with Tonsillectomy
Muhammad Tayyab Basheer's Story
Muhammad Tayyab, a 14-year-old boy from Karachi, has been suffering from recurrent episodes of sore throat and fever for the last year. Activities like eating and swallowing have become increasingly challenging for him, and he even struggles to focus on his studies at a religious seminary. Concerned about his condition, he went to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing a detailed medical evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Tayyab with Chronic Tonsillitis. To ease his pain and prevent further complications, the doctor has advised tonsillectomy. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond his family’s financial reach.
If left untreated, Tayyab’s chronic tonsillitis will diminish his quality of life. It may lead to complications like peritonsillar abscess, tonsillar enlargement, and the infection may spread to other parts of the body.
Tayyab lives in a modest home with his joint family of fourteen members. His father is a teacher at a seminary, and his brother works at a private company. Together, they manage to bring in just PKR 40,000 per month. This income is insufficient to support a large family of 14, in addition to their utility bills of PKR 5000 and children’s school fees of PKR 1000. A significant loan of PKR 150,000 is also adding to their hardships. The cost of Tayyab’s much-needed surgery is something that his family can’t afford on their own.
Tayyab’s parents said in despair:
“Our son faces extreme challenges while studying, sleeping, and eating. Every parent longs to see their child lead a healthy and happy life. Your generosity can help Tayyab find strength and healing to move forward. We request you to kindly contribute for Tayyab’s surgery.”
He deserves to have a healthy future. Your kindness can only make this change possible.
Even a small contribution can make a significant difference in his life. Come forward and donate now!

Muhammad Tayyab Basheer's Story
Muhammad Tayyab, a 14-year-old boy from Karachi, had been suffering from recurrent bouts of sore throat and high-grade fever for the past year. Activities like eating and swallowing were significantly challenging for him. His illness also affected his ability to focus on his studies at a religious seminary. Concerned about his condition, his parents took him to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing necessary tests and examinations, the doctor diagnosed Tayyab with Chronic Tonsillitis. To alleviate his pain and discomfort, his doctor advised tonsillectomy. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery was beyond his family’s means.
Tayyab lived in a small home with his joint family of fourteen members. His father is a teacher at a seminary, and his brother holds a private job. Together, they manage to bring in just PKR 40,000 per month. A significant portion of his income goes towards their utility bills, food, and educational expenses. After covering these essentials, they were left with nothing to set aside for Tayyab’s life-changing surgery. After struggling for a while, the family found Transparent Hands and asked for assistance. After listening to their concerns, we swiftly registered Tayyab’s case.
On August 11, 2025, Tayyab was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. His surgery was scheduled for the same day. Dr. Mubashir Abdul Razzak expertly performed his tonsillectomy. Tayyab received essential post-operative care and was discharged in good health on August 12, 2025.
Tayyab’s parents described their happiness as follows:
“Tayyab’s life was filled with challenges before surgery. However, your support came at the perfect time. Our son is now free from the health challenges that he faced before. This change in his life couldn’t have been possible without your generous support. We thank you for being a source of hope during our time of need.”
His parents are overjoyed to see their son active again, something they had long prayed for. They express their deep gratitude to you as you contributed to Tayyab’s treatment.
