Amna Zeeshan's Story

Amna Zeeshan, a 22-year-old woman from Karachi, is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second child. However, her heart is filled with both excitement and anxiety due to her medical history. Since she had already undergone a C-section, she consulted a gynecologist for her second pregnancy. After performing a thorough examination and considering her medical history, her doctor has advised another C-section. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of both Amna and her baby. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond her family’s financial means.

Without a C-section, both Amna and her baby face may face significant risks, including obstructed labor or uterine rupture.

Amna lives in a small rented house with her husband and one child. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, is a daily wage laborer and brings in just PKR 22000 per month. The thought of undergoing surgery weighs heavily on her mind, and she is worried about the financial implications. With limited resources, the couple is struggling to prepare for the new baby while managing their existing expenses. They pay PKR 7000 for house rent and PKR 4000 for utility bills. Furthermore, the burden of a loan of PKR 100,000 makes it more challenging for them to pay for her C-section. During this challenging time, Amna contacted Transparent Hands and asked us to register her case.

Amna expressed her plea as follows:

“I want to ensure a safe delivery for my baby, but the cost of the surgery is a huge burden. I feel helpless, knowing that my child’s life is at risk. I believe that with your assistance, I can have a safe delivery. Kindly help me in undergoing the C-section.”

With your help, Amna can undergo the much-needed C-section, allowing her to welcome her new child into the world without fear. Your contributions can make a significant difference in her life, providing her with peace of mind and the opportunity to embrace motherhood once again. Join us in supporting Amna on her way towards a safe and joyful delivery.

Amna Zeeshan's Story

Amna Zeeshan, a 22-year-old woman from Karachi, was filled with both joy and anxiety as she awaited the birth of her second child. Having already experienced a C-section during her first pregnancy, Amna knew the challenges and risks involved. As her pregnancy progressed, she consulted a gynecologist who carefully reviewed her medical history and performed a detailed examination. To ensure the health and safety of both the mother and baby, the doctor strongly recommended a planned lower-segment C-section for this delivery as well. However, this news brought financial stress as they were living in poverty.

Amna lives in a small rented house with her husband and their young child. Her husband works as a daily wage laborer and earns just PKR 22,000 per month. With rising household expenses, utility bills, and the cost of basic necessities, affording the cost of a C-section seemed impossible. Amna and her husband were deeply worried. They wanted to ensure a safe delivery but lacked the means to make it happen. Then, a well-wisher told them about Transparent Hands. They reached out to us, and after assessing her case and financial condition, we promptly registered Amna’s case.

On January 31, 2025, Amna was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Her C-section was successfully performed by Dr. Samreen Zeeshan on January 31, 2025. The procedure went smoothly, and Amna gave birth to a healthy baby boy. She was closely monitored during the post-operative period and discharged in stable condition after receiving proper medical care.

Amna’s husband expressed his heartfelt gratitude as follows:

“We had no idea how we would afford the delivery. You stood by us during our time of need. Seeing both my wife and child healthy is a blessing I can never thank you enough for.”

Amna’s life has changed for the better. She is now safely recovering with her newborn in her arms and a heart full of relief.

Your support made this joyous moment possible. Amna and her family extend their immense gratitude to you for your kindness and generosity.
