In Lahore, many needy patients suffer from treatable eye diseases. Through this camp, we made sure that a maximum number of patients could access quality healthcare. For them, timely diagnosis of eye conditions meant they could begin necessary treatments to prevent vision loss.
During the camp, 9 patients were identified for cataract surgery. These cases were registered with Transparent Hands for further treatment at reputable hospitals on our panel.
Our team of ophthalmologists, nurses, and volunteers also distributed prescription eyeglasses among the patients. We organized this camp with the aim to correct vision issues such as nearsightedness, and farsightedness, allowing individuals to see more clearly.
