We Provided Eye Care to the Needy in Lahore
Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of Life Hospital, recently organized a free eye camp aimed at providing quality healthcare to underprivileged patients. The camp was held on November 3, 2024, at Sagar Model High School, Lahore. This camp played an integral part in addressing and resolving the sight issues of numerous deserving patients in Lahore.

At the free medical camp in Lahore, patients received consultations for a variety of diseases, including:
- Cataract
- Conjunctivitis
- Pterygium
- Glaucoma
- Hypermetropia
- Myopia
Impact:
The free medical camp positively impacted the lives of 350 deserving patients and their families. In Lahore, numerous patients were suffering from eyesight issues but their financial constraints made it impossible for them to obtain timely medical care. This camp ensured that all needy patients could have access to free consultations, diagnostic tests, medicines as well as treatments.
Our team of ophthalmologists, lab technicians, and volunteers keenly examined and evaluated eye-related issues of deserving patients in Lahore and recommended interventions according to the diagnosed health issues. Free eyeglasses were given to those who had weak eyesight.
Furthermore, 25 patients were identified for cataract surgery. We registered them for further treatment. These patients will receive quality medical interventions at no cost.
