Ambreen Needs a C-Section to Deliver Her Child Safely

Ambreen Ameer's Story
Ambreen Ameer, a 21-year-old woman from Hyderabad, is currently 28 weeks pregnant. She has gone through the heartbreak of three stillbirths in the past. Ambreen’s medical history is concerning. Her obstetric record is G5P1+3, meaning she has only one living child from five pregnancies. Due to the complications in her previous pregnancies, her gynecologist has strongly advised a C-section to protect both her and the baby’s life. However, Ambreen’s family can’t afford her C-section.
A natural delivery may put her at serious risk of uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and another tragic loss. C-section is essential to ensure their safety.
She lives in a small mud house with her husband and one child. Her husband works as a laborer, earning just PKR 12,000 per month. This income is barely enough to manage the most basic household expenses, including utility bills as well as food expenses. They face immense financial hardships, and the cost of the required C-section is well beyond their means. With no savings, Ambreen feels helpless. She fears that she may lose another child if she doesn’t receive the much-needed healthcare services. During this time of need, Ambreen contacted Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.
With a heavy heart, Ambreen said:
“After everything we’ve been through, I can’t bear to lose this baby too. We are doing everything we can, but we don’t have the money for surgery. I just want to hold my child in my arms. Kindly help me undergo the C-section.”
Ambreen has placed her trust in Transparent Hands. Ambreen’s life and her baby’s future now depend on timely surgical intervention.
Your contribution can be the reason this mother finally embraces a healthy child. Give generously.
